As the healthcare community continues to prepare and respond to the spread of coronavirus disease (COVID-19) in the United States, we felt it important to share with you how our stores have adapted to the situation. The CDC has published "Interim Guidance for Healthcare Facilities: Preparing for Community Transmission of COVID-19 in the Unites States" and continues to provide healthcare providers and the public several useful resources. You can find this information on their website at cdc.gov.
While the risk of encountering COVID-19 in our area is still very low, your health and safety are our top priority. Based on the CDC guidelines, there are prudent precautions we are taking to maintain a low-risk environment. We are going above and beyond the standard infection control requirements by extending disinfection of public common touch areas (registers, carts, doorknobs, etc) on a rotating schedule and as often as possible. Our staff are being given special instructions on how to maintain clean and sanitized stores.
Please understand that we are working closely with suppliers and distributors to replenish the products that help to prevent the spread of this and many other viruses.
Thank you for supporting local businesses. We love our communities and will continue to serve the needs of you and your family.
